Edmonton Cat Fest

$17,000 raised for local cat rescues from the 2025 Edmonton Cat Festival bringing total donated since 2014 to $187,000

Nearly 3,000 people (including you!) attended the Caturday, May 31, 2025 Edmonton International Cat Festival, helping us raise money to support the impurrtant work local rescues do!

Thanks to the support from community, sponsors, vendors and purrtners,

We were able to raise $15,000 for this year’s supported rescue: Little Cats Lost! 🎉

Little Cats Lost began over 15 years ago with a vision to reduce the birth of kittens and consequently the number of stray cats in Edmonton through Trap-Neuter-and Return. Part of this process includes Rescue, Rehabilitation, Re-home programs. With no government funding and relying only on donations and fundraising it is not easy to maintain these programs. Little Cats Lost operates many initiatives including:

FIX ME: Spay/neuter assistance program
LITTLE CATS LOST TNR: curbing cat overpopulation with humane solutions
ID FOR ME: feline identification program
CHLOE’s HOUSE: Special Homes for Special Cats
SHARING IS CARING: Financial assistance to help save owned pets with treatable conditions from euthanasia
FELINE FORTRESSES: Homes for houseless cats
MOE MOE’S HOPE: Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) education and assistance program
RODENT WRANGLERS: Barn and shop cat heroes program.

We were also able to donate an additional $2,000 to local rescue Community Cats Edmonton, who was involved in our Cat/Kitten Yoga events throughout May.

Community Cats Edmonton began in 2019 to support stray, feral & community cats. Community Cats Edmonton aims to create a safer, warmer, longer, better life for feral cats in Edmonton.
