In light of all the news coming out around COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Edmonton International Cat Festival, originally scheduled for May 30, 2020.
It would not have been responsible to continue promoting the festival during this time, and had we proceeded with the event, it just would not have been the event we wanted it to be.
Everyone who pre-purchased festival tickets will be receiving a refund. All vendors, sponsors and partners have been contacted individually.
The Edmonton International Cat Festival planning committee sincerely thanks everyone for their support and excitement. At this point, we will wait until the fall to set a new date for the festival—which will not be until 2021.
We look forward to celebrating cats, cat culture and cat people together again with you, while raising money for cat rescues.
