After an exciting virtual 2022 event, the Edmonton International Cat Festival is excited to ameownce that:
The 2022 Virtual #YEGCatFest raised $4,000 to support Edmonton cat rescues!
$3,500 was donated to the main donation recipient for 2022—Community Cats Edmonton, while $500 was donated to Little Cats Lost—who supported our Cat Yoga activity.
THIS YEAR’S DONATION BRINGS THE EDMONTON CAT FESTIVAL’S TOTAL $$ MONEY RAISED FOR RESCUES SINCE WE BEGAN IN 2014, TO $130,000.
Thank you! We could not support cat rescues, celebrate cats, cat culture, and cat people, without support from YOU, our partners, and sponsors!
Please note the cheque image total is incorrect—we donated $3,500 to Community Cats Edmonton (not $3,000 as the image indicates).
A special shout out to Doughnut Party—whose $1 from online orders ahead of our festival promotion contributed $200 to our total raised this year.
