Meet & Greet Details

Tickets purrchased online in advance are $15 and 100% proceeds will be donated to Furget Me Not Animal Rescue!
Kick off the cat-ivities with a Great Grams of Gary Meet & Greet at Homes Alive Pets West Edmonton store on Caturday, May 20.
Our donation recipient rescue Furget Me Not Animal Rescue and sponsor Animal Care & Control Centre – Edmonton will also be on site.
Meet & Greet ticket holders will also receive Homes Alive Pets / cat swag!
Select a specific time frame for your Meet & Greet so we can manage crowds.
- 10 a.m to 10:30 a.m.
- 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- 12 pm. to 12:30 p.m.
- 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.
- Note: Gary will take a short break between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.
You’re asked to arrive anytime in your selected time frame on the day of the Meet & Greet.
There will be VERY LIMITED day-of catpacity on May 20 so be sure to get your ticket in advance to guarantee your spot!
Day-of Meet & Greet pricing also goes up to $20, will be cash only, and day-of spots are NOT guaranteed.

Notes

Our volunteer will use your phone to take your photo / camera with Gary. Cat Fest may also take photos of Gary with his fans.
Homes Alive Pets will still be open to shoppers during the Meet & Greet. Plan to shop before or after your Meet & Greet too!

Great Grams of Gary is one of the most pawpular adventure cats in the world! Gary is an Alberta-based adventure cat who hikes, skis, kayaks, climbs meowntains, explores ice caves, and MORE! We have been wanting to offer an in-purrson Meet & Greet with Great Grams of Gary for the last few years and have been grateful for Gary’s virtual involvement in our last few virtual events. Now Gary will help kick off the 2023 Edmonton Cat Fest Week in-purrson at Homes Alive Pets!

This year’s 2023 Edmonton Cat Festival is a WEEK of events!

Rather than one big in-purrson event, this year we are hosting multiple, smaller cat-themed events from May 20, 2023 to May 28, 2023 as part of the first-ever Edmonton Cat Fest WEEK presented by Homes Alive Pets. 100% of purr-ceeds will be donated to Furget Me Not Animal Rescue. Since 2014, the Edmonton Cat Fest has donated $130,000 to local rescues.

Since 2014, the Edmonton International Cat Festival has held a cat pawty to celebrate cats, cat people and cat culture, while raising money for cat rescues helping cats in need (donating $130,000 for local rescues!) Since 2020 we have hosted virtual events due to the pandemic.

While the 2023 in-purrson events will be smaller in scale than our typical one-day pawties, 100% of purr-ceeds raised from events and sponsors will continue to be donated to a local rescue helping cats in need. This year’s selected donation recipient is Furget Me Not!

We’ll also be encouraging you to take advantage of Cat-themed promotions across the city as part of the Cat Fest Week Cat Pawspurrt!
