Get a BIG STRETCH in with Janelle Snow (She/Her) (500-RYT), of Yogalife Studios, who will be leading THREE in-person CAT YOGA practices during Cat Fest Month—two before the May 25 festival and one during the festival!

There are only 15 spots are available per intimate Cat (Kitten) Yoga session. Lots of cute kittens. 100% proceeds donated to rescues!

Choose from THREE Cat (Kitty) Yoga sessions this May 2024:

“If you’ve wanted to try yoga and the only difference you know between upward facing dog and downward facing dog is how your own pupper likes to play, don’t even worry about it – this is CATFEST, after all! Join me for some CAT-arunguas, kitten poses and all the other cat puns I can come up with,” says Janelle.

Note: If you’re pregnant or think you might be pregnant, please consult your doctor before practicing.

If you’d like to purrticipate IN PERSON cat yoga, you will need to purchase a separate Cat Yoga Ticket.

The May 12 and May 18 Cat Yoga sessions feature kittens from Community Cats Edmonton. May 25 cat rescue to be confirmed!

100% purr-ceeds from the cat yoga sessions will also be donated to this year’s three donation recipients – Community Cats, Enoch Animal Services and Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS).

Note: this is a casual beginner yoga class (that entails a lot of kitten cuddles!)

About the Instructor Janelle Snow (RYT500)

With over 600 hours of training, Janelle thrives on creating safe and inclusive spaces, especially for those who’ve felt like they never “fit in”. She tailors her classes to be accessible so students can move on their mats in ways that feel safe in their bodies.

With a deep appreciation for yogis of the past, Janelle weaves the wisdom of ancient teachings with modern knowledge. She approaches community and studio classes through a trauma-informed lens, trying to create a space for students to explore movement and breath work.
