Ameowncing the 2022 Cat Festival Rescue Recipients!

The Edmonton International Cat Festival is excited to ameownce the 2022 event’s donation recipents!

This year’s virtual Edmonton Cat Festival (taking place May 28 & 29, 2022) will support two local cat rescues.

Community Cats Edmonton will be the recipient of 100% of purr-ceeds raised from this year’s virtual ticket sales, sponsors, and other donations.

Little Cats Lost will be the recipient of 100% of purr-ceeds raised from two hybrid in-person and virtual cat yoga events presented by Yogalife Studios Edmonton, in conjunction with the festival. (LCL will also be providing kittens to join participants in cat yoga!)

About Little Cats Lost

Little Cats Lost (Trap-Neuter-Return) Society’s mission is to humanely reduce euthanasia and the growth rates of feral cat colonies by preventing their breeding cycles through spay/neuter practices, while educating the public on the merits of a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program in our community.

Tickets for the 2022 Virtual Edmonton Cat Festival and hybrid in-person and virtual cat yoga sessions go on sale May 1, 2022.

One in-person cat yoga session will be offered on Caturday May 28 and one in–person session will be offered on Sunday May 29.

These in-person sessions will be simultaneously broadcast online for virtual purrticipants.

* Please note: tickets to in-person cat yoga DO NOT get you access to virtual Cat Festival ticket. 100% of this in-person cat yoga ticket will be donated to Little Cats Lost. Only 15 tickets will be sold per session to keep groups small. You will need to purrchase a separate ticket for virtual Cat Festival if you’d like to take part in live sessions and replays from this year’s virtual event.
