Mayor Amarjeet Sohi Declares May 20-28, 2023 “Edmonton Cat Fest Week”

THE OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION READS: 

WHEREAS, every day, the lives of Edmontonians are brightened by the curious and caring nature of cats and kittens;

AND WHEREAS, the Edmonton International Cat Festival offers claw-some cativities while raising im-paw-tant funds for a local animal rescue;

AND WHEREAS, the Edmonton Public Library is making biscuits in anticipation of hosting many Edmonton Cat Fest events at the Stanley A. Milner Library, located in the heart of our vibrant downtown;

AND WHEREAS, the City of Edmonton’s Animal Care and Control Centre is purring with pride over its sponsorship of this festival and feline good about helping bring together our city’s devoted  animal-loving community;

THEREFORE I, MAYOR AMARJEET SOHI, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM MAY 20-28, 2023 “EDMONTON CAT FEST WEEK” IN EDMONTON, ALBERTA’S CAPITAL CITY.
