Nearly 3,000 people (including you!) attended the Caturday, May 31, 2025 Edmonton International Cat Festival, helping us raise money to support the impurrtant work local rescues do! Thanks to the support from community, sponsors, vendors and purrtners, we were able to raise $15,000 for Little Cats Lost and an additional $2,000 for Community Cats Edmonton through cat yoga activities.

HAPPY CATURDAY AND “CAT DAY!” We are pleased to ameownce that Mayor Amarjeet Sohi of the City of Edmonton has proclaimed Caturday, May 31, 2025 as “CAT DAY” in Alberta’s capital city.

Join us on Sunday, June 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., for a FREE Sip ‘N Purr event held at Cheery Cat Co., Edmonton’s first specialty cat boutique and cat lounge, with non-alcoholic drinks provided (the ‘Sip’ part of the event name) by SPILT ZERO PROOF BAR, freebies, gifts, shopping discount and more!

At the May 31, 2025 Edmonton Cat Festival, we’re presenting Local Roving Cats who can be found wandering the festival floors (both Main Floor & Second Floor) throughout the day, saying hello to attendees! Go up, say hello, ask for pets + photos!

At the Caturday, May 31, 2025 Edmonton International Cat Festival, we’re offering FREE CAT-THEMED WORKSHOPS (included with your festival admission!) Cat tote bags, cat bath bombs, cat dungeons & dragons, cat hair. crafting! These are limited spots so you need to pre-register to reserve a spot in order to purrticipate in the workshops.
